The newly renovated Chateau Lacombe is a Landmark Hotel located in the heart of downtown Edmonton.  We are a full service convention hotel, with 307 guest rooms, and are currently seeking a Part Time Front Desk Agent to join our team.

Education, Training and/or Experience: 

  • General High School Diploma
  • Hospitality & Tourism Certificate preferred 
  • Familiarity with computer programs 
  • Previous guest service experience in a hospitality environment
  • Opera (PMS) experience an asset 
  • Must be able to deal with stressful situations in an efficient and professional manner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • To provide professional and efficient check-in/check-out of guests 
  • To maintain accuracy in all transactions essential 
  • To accurately complete all AM/PM tasks as outlined by daily checklist 
  • To be well informed of all in-house activities as well as local events
  • To resolve guest problems to the best of his/her ability and respond promptly to any guest service request
  • To upsell guestrooms and additional products according to standards 
  • Any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Supervisor
