Travel Alberta is the tourism marketing agency of the Government of Alberta, its role is to market the tourism assets, attractions and opportunities present in Alberta in domestic, national and international markets; to promote Alberta as a destination for tourists and other visitors; and to assist Alberta’s tourism industry operators to market their products.

Pekarsky & Co. has partnered with Travel Alberta  in a  search for a Vice President, Global Consumer Marketing (“VP’). Under the guidance of the CEO, the VP will be responsible for the overall management of Travel Alberta’s Global Consumer Marketing function, leading integrated multi-disciplinary teams in brand, research & insights, digital platforms, advertising, content, media and social media within targeted North American and International markets.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive consumer marketing experience with a demonstrated history of building and advancing world-class digitally-focused marketing strategies that accelerate revenue and profitability growth is required. Exceptional strategic execution, leadership, stakeholder relations experience is also essential for the role as well as excellent domain expertise in digital business transformation, market research, brand development, omni-channel strategy and marketing technology platforms.
