ALTO AWARDS CELEBRATE INDUSTRY INNOVATORS

The annual Alberta Tourism (Alto) Awards are the premiere opportunity for our industry to honour the best of the best in Alberta tourism.

Industry-led, the Alto Awards committee and judging panel are made up of passionate volunteers from different sectors of the tourism industry, representing communities across the province.

Celebrating 20 years in 2020, the Alto Awards are presented annually in conjunction with the Travel Alberta Industry Conference and celebrate the innovative companies—and the people behind them—that demonstrate excellence in experience development, marketing and service delivery, helping ensure tourism remains an important economic driver for Alberta.

The highest honour is reserved for the Alto Ambassador, a role model and leader, known for their outstanding contributions to Alberta’s tourism industry.

Who will be Alberta’s 2020 Alto Ambassador?

This is your chance to nominate your favourite tourism maverick—an individual who is advancing tourism in the province with ingenuity, determination and optimism, and inspiring other industry partners to do the same. The Alto Ambassador will be announced during Tourism Week, May 24-31, 2020.

The nomination deadline is April 17, 2020.  See below for a full list of 2019 Alto Award recipients.
